Pour les plus perspicaces qui l’auront reconnu, le thème est celui de « Joe ».

Le titre a été composé et enregistré en deux heures, j’en ai eu l’idée sur la route pour aller à l’école de musique et arrivé sur place, n’ayant pas d’élèves, je l’ai enregistré et une heure après c’était en boîte.

Il y a 4 guitares enregistrées, chacune a une tessiture différente, il n’y a pas de basse à proprement parler, c’est une Basse VI…

Les effets de percussions ont été ajoutés par Amédée (clavier) et j’ai rajouté des sons d’Oberheim Matrix 1000 & Matrix 6.

L’accord d’intro est un D majeur et pour grossir ce qui n’était pas encore assez gros, j’ai samplé le piano de fin de « A Day in the Life » des Beatles qui lui est un E Majeur.

L’idée m’a été accidentellement suggérée par Antoine Delecroix (ingé son qui a mixé l’album) qui pensait qu’au départ c’était le même accord que « A Day in the Life ». Lorsqu’il m’a posé la question, j’ai tout de suite pensé à le sampler et à essayer de le superposer, j’ai aimé le résultat et c’est sur le disque.
